The latest dietary analysis has discovered 14 different nutrient-dense foods that, time and again, enable good general health. They are a proven way that that answers the question: are you really what you eat?

These nutrient-dense foods are called Superfoods. They tend to contain many disease-fighting antioxidants, lower calories, and higher levels of vitamins and minerals.

The superfoods include:

  1. Beans
  2. Berries (mainly blueberries)
  3. Oranges
  4. Nuts (especially walnuts)
  5. Broccoli
  6. Pumpkin
  7. Spinach
  8. Tomatoes
  9. Whole grains and oats

The 14 superfoods listed above can form the base of a solid, balanced diet. If consumed properly, they can assist you in avoiding having to go for programs that would otherwise not yield sustainable results.

Unbalanced Diet

On the other hand, the ill effects of an unbalanced diet are many and can vary. Some signs that your diet is unbalanced include being uncomfortable with your body, being tired all the time, having mood swings, having low energy levels, and experiencing changes in your weight. In addition, an unbalanced diet can cause difficulties with growth and development, maintenance of body tissues, challenges with bone and muscle systems, and brain and nervous system function.

Signs of malnutrition include lack of energy, crankiness, and a weakened immune system causing regular colds or allergies. Additionally, malnutrition can cause mineral depletion in the body, which can trigger various health concerns, including anemia. Anemia is a condition in which there is a lack of sufficient healthy red blood cells to carry enough oxygen to the body’s tissues.

The fact that the body is connected means that an unhealthy part of the body can cause an unhealthy mindset. Combining nutrient-dense and healthy fresh food with these superfoods will enable our spirit to be revitalized as well.

Research Outputs

Research has established that many processed foods prepackaged for convenience do not have nutrients like vitamins and minerals. Lack of vital nutrients can adversely affect our mental well-being, leading to confusion, irritability, and a feeling of not generally having a clear mind.

By consuming the superfoods listed above and other related healthy food, you give yourself a good foundation for improving your health through proper nutrition. This will help to prevent or cure many diseases or disorders.
