The three main Omega 3 fatty acids are alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). ALA comes mainly from plant oils such as flaxseed, soybean, and canola oils. DHA and EPA are found in fish like salmon and other seafood.

Omega 3s can work to keep the heart’s arteries unclogged and functioning as well as possible. They are therefore ideal supplements to get into your diet each day.

3. Improve Mood

Research has also shown that salmon can improve your mood to be better. The improved mood is due to the numerous vitamins and the high amount of Omega 3s in this superfood.

Amino acids are ideal for helping you stay in a good mood and salmon is loaded with these. Additionally, salmon contains many B vitamins, which can simultaneously help your nervous system and your attitude.

4. More Natural

In this day and age, there are a lot of processed foods on the market. These are not the best for you to eat, and you should avoid consuming them in high quantities.

The good news about salmon is that it is a more natural food for you to enjoy. Fortunately, salmon has few preservatives in it and other added chemicals, as well. The absence of preservatives and chemicals will allow you to enjoy simply the good and not the bad that is typically found in many other foods for you to eat.

One ideal way to prepare salmon is by cooking it on the grill. Cooking it this way will allow you to get the most flavor from it and lower fat content. So all you need is a grill and the salmon to help you make a healthy meal fast.
